Perez received the award at Foodservice Director's Menu Directions 2008 Conference. The advisory panel for Foodservice Director magazine chose Perez as the winner from their nominees, which included food service directors from all market segments, not just healthcare, inclusive of self-operations and contract management in the food service/hospitality industry.
